Commissions
Chris has had major commissions from
- Exeter and Devon Community NHS Trust (to celebrate 50 years of the NHS in Devon)
- King’s College, London (to celebrate the renovation of the Chapel)
- The Nida Institute at the American Bible Society (to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the King James Bible)
but he is also willing to consider personal commissions for special occasions for people and families.

Readings
Chris has given readings in all sorts of places, from New York and Los Angeles to Westminster Abbey and the Edinburgh Fringe. His ‘Poetry at the Palace’ (with Richard Skinner) has been a particular feature of the Exeter Festival.

Workshops
Chris has done workshops for poets in both England and the US. He prefers to work with groups of no more than 15.

Chris is also available to lead quiet days for churches and other Christian groups. His last quiet day, at St Endellion Church in Cornwall, used poems by R.S. Thomas, Seamus Heaney, Gerard Manley Hopkins, and T.S. Eliot.
